Based in our modern Abbotsford office, this role will see you manage the debtor collection function for the firm in conjunction with a second Credit Controller.
Key responsibilities in this role are to:
Ensure the Credit Policy is adhered to by all members of the Firm
Participate in the Firms Credit Committee
Liaise with each Principal regarding their Debtors list
Take the appropriate action with outstanding debtors as per the firms Credit Policy
Monitor and manage the Collection Agency relationship and initiate legal proceedings when deemed necessary
Recommend and implement the Fee Funding option where appropriate
Take a proactive approach to our debt collection function
Provide advice to the Finance Controller in relation to debtor provisioning and bad debt write offs
An experienced Credit Controller, you will have proven success working in Business Services and/or professional services environment. Superior communication skills both verbal and written, professional and flexible attitude, along with high level excel skills, ability to prioritise work and get results will be essential to your success in this role.
