Le Max Group supermarkets are a large independently Australian owned supermarket group based in the suburbs of Melbourne. Due to future expansion, we are currently looking for a self motivated, energetic and enthusiastic Fruit and Vegetable Manager to work in a Full-time capacity in the South Eastern suburbs.
The Produce Manager is responsible for the performance of the fruit and vegetable department. Duties and responsibilities include: managing stock levels, supplies, staff performance and training including rostering, managing sales, gross profit and wage budget performance whilst ensuring the department is well presented, clean and achieves maximum customer service.
The successful applicant must have several years experience in the trade and have a proven track record of running a supermarket produce department or have fruit and vegetable shop experience.
- Maintenance of Produce department including visual displays
- Supermarket experience
- Forklift licence is desirable
- Attractive salary package
