Brisbane12mth ContractWork/life balanceWould you like to work in a modern, enthusing environment  Our client requires an open space planner to contribute to the development, facilitation and coordination of policies and strategies in relation to parks and environment around Brisbane.
As part of your role, you will need to:
· Undertake strategic research, policy development
· Contribute to the design of the Parks sub-program
· Green space planning, including City Plan amendments and local plans
· Manage projects to ensure they are completed on budget and on time
· Liaise with key providers and other stakeholders
The requirements:
· Demonstrated ability to develop planning policy and strategy relating to parks and open space.
· Demonstrated ability to plan for the multiple values of public open space
· High level of skills in consultation, negotiation, networking
· Sound knowledge and skills in the technical application of best practices and principles in the parks arena and  the ability to apply this knowledge.
