Business Objects Developer
Our client is delivering a project using the Business Objects based on the BO Data Integrator ETL tool. They need a report developer with very good BO skills using the Business Objects suite is used for reporting.
You will need most of the above skills and experience for this opportunity with ideally in depth technical knowledge of BI, Data Warehousing, Oracle and ETL technologies. The ability to lead and communicate with various team members confidently is desirable.
Due to aggressive growth my client, a leader in the BI space requires an experienced Business Objects Consultant to join their dynamic team.
Driving projects forward, both commercially and technically you will be responsible for full implementations.
Technical/Functional Skills
Performance Skills
- Implementing Business Objects solutions.
- Strong Data warehouse BO Project Implementation Experience.
- Three Plus Years BO/BI Development experience working with dimensional modeling, data warehouse and architecture.
- Experience in customer interactions and requirements gathering.
- Database design using major Relational Database Management Systems Data warehousing/ETL (e.g.Data Integrator or Informatica) and experience of writing SQL queries
- Working with related business intelligence tools (e.g. OLAP, Multidimensional database technology or analytical applications).
- Excellent oral / written communications, problem solving skills required.
- Strong influence/interpersonal skills and customer orientation and decision making ability required
- Demonstrated presentation/public speaking skills for both technical and management presentations internally and to clients required
- Proven success under aggressive schedules and ambiguous requirements required
- Strong eliciting customer requirements, defining limits to project scope, and developing contract documentation preferred
- Good management/supervisory preferred
