Brisbane Based Major Infrastructure Project

One of Australia’s premiere infrastructure projects is about to commence the first stage and requires the expertise of an experienced Project Manager to execute the initial planning and scheduling of the finishing works on the project which involves bridges, tunnelling, roads, piling, earthworks, drainage, mechanical and electrical works.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be charged with the responsibility to work collaboratively with all areas of the project in planning, scheduling and project managing the finishing works on this major tunnelling project. Finishing works include; installation of barriers, asphalting, lighting, architectural features, smoke ducting and lining.

You will require experience working in an underground environment, either on a civil construction project of a similar nature or on a mining project where you have become familiar and skilled at understanding the processes involved in an underground working environment.

This opportunity is suited to a qualified Civil Engineer or Mining Engineer with exception planning skills and a high level of commercial acumen. You will consider yourself an excellent leader who works well with a team and someone who leads from the front with regards to workplace health and safety.

This is a long-term opportunity working with some of Australia’s best known major contractors.
